GARRISON PETAWAWA, ON, May 2026: The OBJEXIS AI Chief Executive Officer was invited to, and attended, the Canadian Army's launch of the first innovation challenge under the MINERVA Initiative, held at 4th Canadian Division Support Base Petawawa and announced by the Minister of National Defence and the Commander of the Canadian Army on May 21, 2026.

The inaugural MINERVA challenge calls for innovative, affordable general-purpose uncrewed aerial systems capable of providing accurate range, target cueing, and impact adjustment for indirect fire, in plain terms, low-cost drones that put precision artillery correction in a soldier's hands.
