Our Story
OBJEXIS was not founded in a boardroom, and it was not founded on a trend. It was founded by people who have lived the problem: soldiers who fought where the sky changed hands, and engineers who build for conditions where polished demos die. The company exists because the people who depend on these systems deserved better than what the industry was offering them.
Our starting point was a hard, specific challenge: make AI perform reliably in field conditions where existing tools failed. That work began in defence, alongside operational users, building a proprietary autonomous counter-UAS system. The scope grew because the problem did. Seeing the threat was only the first layer of a much bigger fight.
We learned that systems that survive the real world cannot be assembled from someone else's parts. Strong algorithms are not enough. So we built the whole stack ourselves: the data engine, the AI, the airframes, the avionics, the navigation that works when GPS does not, and the operator tools that turn all of it into capability in a soldier's hands.
Everything we build is shaped by one loop: field it, learn from it, improve it, field it again. Our teams work backward from the front line rather than forward from a spec sheet. That is why our systems are modular, field-buildable, and designed to adapt as fast as the fight does.
Today, OBJEXIS is a sovereign Canadian company expanding across defence, aerospace, and adjacent industries. Our credibility does not come from marketing. It comes from performance, in evaluation and in use, in places where failure is not an option.
We are not a product of hype cycles. We build systems people can rely on in the field, and we are delivering them now.
